The Running Lash
“I was running behind schedule but wanted to make sure that I had put on my false lashes. I took the falsies out of the box, put the glue on quickly and added them to my eyelash line. As I was walking out my door, the lashes kept creeping up my eyelid and found its way to my eyelid crease. By the time I had free hands to move the lashes, the glue had dried. It looked like I had two lash lines per eye.”
Hypnotize Lashes advice:
Always make sure the glue is tacky before applying the lashes. Runny glue will not help set the lashes in place and will make a mess on your eyelid and your own eyelashes. A general rule: apply the lash adhesive and wave the lash for about 15-30 seconds. Apply the lash closest to your natural lash line when the glue is tacky to touch.
The Diseased eyelid
“I don’t understand why my eyelids get swollen after I wear false eyelashes. The other day I also had pink eye. I think I may stop wearing eyelashes all together. Frustrated and about to give up!”
Hypnotize Lashes advice:
Always remove the glue off the lashes after each use and store the lashes in a box. Your eyes may be irritated from dust mites or bacteria build up from old glue. You may also have sensitivities to latex, so we recommend tryin a latex free lash adhesive.
The Waving Lash
“I bought a new pair of false lashes and was super excited to wear them. I put them on directly from the box after applying lash glue, pressed them firmly on my lash line from inner crease to outer crease. For some odd reason, the inner part of the false lash kept peeling off. The inner corners did not stay down. What am I doing wrong? Help!
Hypnotize Lashes advice:
Always measure the lashes to your lash line, the false lash should start at the inner corner of your eyeball and never start at the inner crease. Trim to fit and always bend the lashes prior to adding lash adhesive. We also recommend concealing the lash line with a liquid eyeliner.
Too Many Options, where to start?
“I’ve always loved the look of false eyelashes and wanted to try wearing them, but there are so many styles. I don’t know where to start or which style would look good on me. Please help!”
Hypnotize Lashes advice:
Start small and then experiment! We recommend starting with a natural silk lash like “Flirt” or “Flawless.” These two styles are very soft and natural, and work on any eye shape.
If you are looking for ‘stage presence ,’ try something bolder like “Vixen.” They may look dramatic in the box but look amazing on stage
